Our terms and conditions are here to make sure that you, our customer, are supported in making purchasing choices or interacting with our website and social media channels.  


Purchasing your products is simple, just click on the items you wish to buy and add them to the cart.  Go to the checkout page and follow the instructions on the screen.

We take credit and debit card payments. Payments are processed through a secure and encrypted payment gateway so your credit card details remain safe. We do not store credit card details nor do we share financial details with any 3rd parties. Our website has a Secure Layer that protects your information when being transmitted. We don’t personally handle any of your data and no individual will ever see your sensitive payment information.


Due to the unpredictable nature of the British weather and growing seasons, we cannot guarantee that your delivery will always be within the timeline suggested when you placed your order. We will notify you via email if there is a change to your expected delivery period.

Although we give guidelines on when they will arrive, we reserve the right to deliver them outside of this window.

Our pledge to you as the customer is to deliver the best quality products that we can as promptly as we feasibly can in accordance with our shipping information. 

General terms and conditions

Box and Sprout reserves the right to replace any variety with a suitable alternative should the need arise. We will endeavour to contact you should this occur to verify you are happy with the substitution. If you are not happy, we will offer a full refund. 

Box and Sprout reserves the right to amend product information and prices at any time without any prior notice. Box and Sprout reserves the right to cancel orders with a full refund if necessary. Images may be for illustration purposes only and do not necessarily accurately reflect how your plug plants will look.

Upon plant delivery

On arrival, the sooner your plants placed in their forever home (in the sun whenever possible), the better! Follow the guidance in the provided care notes and water straight away, if advised, so your plants have the best chance of thriving. 

Customer Care

We want you to have the best experience possible when you order from us and that’s why we hold ourselves to extremely high standards of customer care and quality. Of course nobody is perfect and that includes us from time to time. Our team is dedicated to solving any issues you encounter with speed and care, ensuring that you are completely happy with our service wherever possible.

Our guarantee to you

We promise to supply products in prime condition, however sometimes we are subject to human error or factors outside our control. You must inform us by email or in person within 24 hours if your plants are not delivered in satisfactory condition. Due to the perishable nature of our products we cannot accept liability for unsatisfactory goods if your first point of contact is outside of the 24 hour window except in exceptional circumstances. In the case of unsatisfactory goods, we will endeavour to send a replacement promptly. If we have no replacement products available we will send a gift voucher rounded up to the nearest £5 as an alternative. In exceptional circumstances we will issue a full refund if no suitable alternative as deemed by us is available as a replacement. Due to the unpredictable nature of gardening and plants, we cannot accept responsibility for the life of your plants once they have been delivered unless there is sufficient evidence that we supplied a faulty product that was not immediately obvious upon receipt. Our liability is restricted to the value of the goods ordered. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Returns and refunds policy


We reserve the right to offer refunds and returns on a case by case basis. With regards to subscriptions, we will refund you if you cancel within 30 days. In the event that goods arrive in unsatisfactory condition, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt of goods to allow us the best opportunity of resolving the issue. Regrettably we cannot accept such queries after this period due to the nature of the products. All purchases from Box and Sprout are governed by English Law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Offers and discounts

Box and Sprout discounts and offers are valid only between the dates advertised and we cannot offer the discount outside of these dates.
